Gale v. Harris, 580 F.2d 52 (C.A.2 (N.Y.), 1978). When Charles Gale was not permitted at his trial for murder to fully question an important witness which led to his conviction and sentence to twenty-five years to life in prison, he sought legal assistance. Brock Green challenged Mr. Gale's conviction by way of a federal habeas corpus petition in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and convinced the judge to throw out the conviction and order a new trial for Mr. Gale. Unfortunately, this ruling was overturned on appeal.
